put this together in 10 minutes. turned out pretty darn well.
—Origins
Tennis - Orgins
Alaina Moore’s voice as strong as ever on this excellent new single. It should be in capable hands with The Black Keys’ Patrick Carney having produced the forthcoming new full length record, looking forward to that!
Tennis follow up this year’s Cape Dory with a new full-length next year; the record is titled Young and Old and drops February 14 via Fat Possum. It will be preceded by a limited 7” Origins (available for streaming above) on Forest Family, backed with a b-side Deep In The Woods.
Brite Futures - Too Young To Kill
Can’t pass on this insane new video directed by Noel Paul. The pop/glam single from the Seattle artists formerly known as Natalie Portman’s Shaved Head is mind-melded into so many 20th century pop references, they flow like wine/acid. You’re gonna lose yr head here. Candy-flipping insanity.
Look for their Baby Rain LP to drop on November 1. They’re on Tumblr.

Bon Iver - Holocene
Stunning cinematography on this new video filmed in Iceland by Nabil Elderkin.

i know where to find you when i want you, but i don’t.
there’s no such thing as perfect. but when my vision is blurred, i can’t tell the difference.
timing is everything
timing means absolutely everything. love, music, sex, a fight, a first kiss, a last goodbye, a joke, a smile, the first tear, asking a question.. all of these things depend on timing. sometimes it’s overwhelming to try and get everything right.
gotta love the smiths.
